Vision

Schriever Elementary School, in partnership with parents and community, is committed to ensuring all students learn by educating the whole child academically and socially.  Through inquiry and discussion, students will discover new ways of thinking with an aligned essential curriculum while advancing to the next educational level on the path to college and career readiness.

Mission

Each and every student at Schriever Elementary will strive for success in academics and behavior.

 

School goals aligned to Vision:

By the end of the 26-27 school year… 

* 80% of  Pre-Kindergarten students will be able to identify at least 25 letter names and produce at least 5 initial letter sounds in spoken words measured by the EOY assessment.

* 80% of Pre-Kindergarten students will demonstrate an understanding of number concepts and operations aligned to the pre-kindergarten curriculum measured by the EOY assessment.  

*Increase the percentage of students in grades kindergarten through third grade scoring benchmark or above composite score as measured by DIBELS from 64.8% to 72%.

* Increase the percentage of students in grades kindergarten through third grade scoring on grade level or above as measured by the numeracy screener from 50% to 60%.

* Increase the percent proficient in ELA from 40.7% to 45.7% as measured by LEAP 2025.

* Increase the percent proficient in Math from 34.1% to 39.1% as measured by LEAP 2025.
