Terrebonne Parish School District participated in the Meritorious Budget Award through the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) for eleven years, from fiscal year 2007-2008 through fiscal year 2018-2019. Each year the district participated in the budget award program, the district received the Meritorious Budget Award for excellence in budgeting. Although the district no longer participates in the program, the format of the budgets and the level of transparency included in the budget presentation has not changed.
