Our School

Oaklawn Middle School is a 5th-8th grade school with approximately 600 students. Nicknamed "The Oaks" because of the beautiful trees on the front lawn, we are located at 2215 Acadian Drive on the east side of Houma. We have a faculty and staff of over 60 individuals that work together to mold our Tarpons into becoming successful and talented adults. 

Our school day is 7:20 am to 2:30 pm. Students can begin to arrive on campus at 7:05 am.  We offer a variety of athletic and extracurricular activities for students, including football, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, spirit squad, book clubs, 4H, Beta and more!
