| Vision |
It is our vision to work collaboratively
with all teachers in helping students to become independent, information-literate,
lifelong learners. |
| Copies |
Personal copies are 5 cents per page
on the copy machine and dot matrix printers, and 10 cents per page on the
desk jet printers. |
| Testing |
Students needing to take make-up test
will be allowed to sit in the library. teachers should make prior
arrangements with staff when possible. Students should report with
a hall pass and a note from the sending teacher with special instructions,
ie. open notebook/textbook, calculator, and time to be sent back to class
(with or without test in hand). |
| School IDs |
IDs for all staff and students will
be made in the library. Replacement IDs are to be obtained from the
library at a cost of $5.00 each. |
Scheduling
Classes |
Teachers wishing to work with their
students in the library are requested to schedule classes at least one
day prior to a visit. Classes are scheduled on a first come first
served basis. A sign-up calendar is in the library office. |
Reference
Materials |
Students will be allowed to check out
some materials over night. Teachers who use reference materials for
their lessons are asked to return them within five days so that they may
be available for others. |
| Technology |
Large screen TV - Teachers may
use the large screen TV that we have for their use in the Library.
It can be used for viewing a video tape or it can be connected to a computer
for PowerPoint or video streaming presentations.
Computers - We have 10 computers for class use
in the Library.
Digital Camera
- we have a Sony FD200 digital camera that can be checked out as long as
overnight for your use in the classroom. |
