| It shall be the policy of the School Board that the school district
shall place an equal emphasis upon the nondiscriminatory provision of educational
opportunities for children and no person shall be excluded from participation
in or denied the benefits of any education service, program, or activity
on the basis of race, color, disability, religion, creed, national origin,
age, or sex. All programs offered by schools within the school district
shall be open to all students in compliance with statutory and judicial
requirements.
The Superintendent shall designate a member of the staff to investigate
any and all complaints which may be brought against the district in regard
to any alleged discriminatory action. Adequate procedures shall be developed
and maintained to provide for prompt and equitable resolution of student
complaints.
