Many educators work in a variety of positions to make education a priority for the students of Terrebonne Parish. TEAMWORK is the key to the academic success of our students. Every person, both in the system and in the community, has a valuable part to play in making the educational process run efficiently and effectively. If any element of the Terrebonne Parish School District’s educational engine does not function as it should, the whole engine may lose productivity. Therefore, everyone is encouraged to work as a TEAM supporting each other, and all supporting the TEAM.

The main focus of our educational system is our students. Our children are the passengers on the educational train of the Terrebonne Parish School District. To enable all students to reach their final destinations, the needs of the students must be identified, isolated and met. If the TEAM engine is working properly, the students are guided along the educational tracks of the school system from one classroom station to another until they reach their goals and potential.

As the educational leader for the Terrebonne Parish School District, it is my job to operate, maintain, and guide the TEAM engine so that all parts work together to achieve our ultimate goal: academic excellence for all students. It is only through TEAMWORK that the students of Terrebonne Parish will attain the skills necessary to achieve lifelong success.
