I am so proud of our fourth graders for working so hard these past few weeks.  They are really getting ready for the LEAP test!

    The week of March 3rd, we will be reviewing strategies that will assist the students.  Test taking strategies are so important.  During the week of March 10th, we will be taking the LEAP test.

    I cannot stress how important attendance is during this week.  Please try to send your children to school every day.  Please make sure your child is well rested and in good spirits this week!  They will do the best that they can - I am sure of it!

    The week after LEAP, our students will celebrate the completion of LEAP by having our Fourth Grade Career Week!  We will be fortunate enough to have several guest speakers from our community explain to our students how important math and reading are in their jobs.  The students love talking to Lucy Bustamante from WWL Channel 4 news.  Please try to give your child an opportunity to watch her news broadcast.  This will allow them to recognize her and ask her questions.
