Registration Procedures 2010-2011
Registration for children beginning Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school session will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, and Thursday, February 11, 2010, in all elementary schools throughout Terrebonne Parish. Registration will continue at all elementary schools through May 7, 2010. After May 7, 2010, registration will be completed at the Terrebonne Parish School Board Office, in the Office of Child Welfare and Attendance, until school reopens. Registration for new and transferring students coming from out-of-state or out-of-parish can go to the public school or the School Board Office to register.
Registration for children beginning Pre-Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school session will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, and Thursday, February, 25, 2010, in all elementary schools throughout the parish. Registration will continue at all elementary schools through May 14, 2010. After May 14, 2010, registration will be completed at the Terrebonne Parish School Board Office, in the Office of Child Welfare and Attendance, until school reopens. Registration for new and transferring students coming from out-of-state or out-of-parish can go to the public school or the School Board Office to register.
TPSD Title 1 Parent Center is now open on Wednesdays, 9 AM to 3 PM. The center provides a variety of resources for parents, including educational materials, family and parenting support, and computer use and training. Parents are invited to visit the Parent Center and meet with the Parental Involvement Coordinator and discuss the resources available. The center is located at 301 Academy Street, Houma.
