What is the HLB Boosters Club?

·        A group of volunteer parents and supporters that promote HLB activities

·        Dues that are paid each year— $10 individual   $15 couple

·        Works with the Athletic Dept. fund to improve HLB athletic sports, Raindancers, and Cheerleaders.

What does the Boosters do for my child?

 

·       Lettermen jackets and letters are paid in full by Boosters

·        Trophies and plaques given annually at the Athletic Award Program are paid by Boosters

·       Team uniforms – All sports have had their uniforms and/or warm-ups purchased by the Boosters. Team uniforms will be purchased as needed.  

·       Basketball – Pads for the gym walls, team chairs with HLB logo also used for Volleyball

·       Baseball and Softball fields -  Repair of the fields; new backstops with fencing; store shed; concession stands

·       Cheerleading and Dance Squads – Money for dance outfits and  assistants and new mascot uniform

·       Track and Field – Pole Vault for new state regulations

·       Transportation – Pays for unfunded cost of transportation of teams, dance and cheerleading squads to different sporting events

·       Weight Room – Equipment has been purchased

·       Coaches – Have paid for some meals and transportation for state tournaments

What can you do to help the Booster?

 

·       Funds are raised by membership dues; selling ½ and ½ at the football and basketball games; bingo games held at the Evergreen Lions Cub, selling of license plates, raffle tickets, plate lunches, etc.
