Our Beliefs

• Learning is a pathway for students to achieve and succeed in life. Each individual has a responsibility and stake in the future success of our world.
• Learning can only take place where security and safety are established. Without these foundations, little growth can occur.
• As individuals, we are unique in many ways especially in our interpretations and methods of processing knowledge.
• Students should be accepted for who they are and for their unique abilities, characteristics, and actions. We as teachers need to work toward the fostering of positive self-image and positive self-esteem in all of our students.
• Our accepted ideas and beliefs on learning are focused on the idea that students learn best when actively involved in the learning process.
• As teachers, we should provide many opportunities of diverse learning activities that will accommodate the unique and varied leaning styles of our students.
• In our efforts to provide our students with a quality education, we should work collaboratively with our parents and community to achieve our shared goals.
• In our diverse population, we should remember the unique qualities of our population and provide services and resources that will enable students to experience the most success in the educational process.
• In all of our efforts to measure and test performance, we should provide our entire population with opportunities that will promote successful experiences.
